General Information
TF7B0.9D-40H is manufactured as the quivalent, replacement, alternative, retrofit and analogue to DuPont Inge dizzer L 0.9 MB 40 PB (VK-0108), which are used for production of process water and potable water. Major applications are the filtration of surface water, seawater and industrial wastewater. TF7B0.9D-40H ultrafiltration elements use Tanal’s SevBore fiber technology with an inside-out flow. SevBore fibers are naturally hydrophilic 7-bore PES hollow fibers by advanced modification technology, which makes TF7B0.9D-40H ultrafiltration membrane modules the most robust PES (polyethersulfone) UF membrane on the market.
The mode of operation is either dead-end or cross-flow (though cross flow mode is only used in certain circumstances), backwash (with filtrate only) at regular intervals and chemically enhanced backwash are required for the continuous operation.
